AT EXOSPHERE, FEMALE ENTREPRENEURS ARE WELCOME: IT’S TIME TO FIX THE GENDER IMBALANCE

LEARN. GROW. DO. BE INSPIRED TO CHANGE YOURSELF, AND THE WORLD AROUND YOU.

What comes to mind when you hear the word “founder” or “entrepreneur”?

Few people imagine a 27 year old Brazilian female biologist, much less a mother of 3 kids.

The gender imbalance in entrepreneurship and tech is a real problem. Countless hours of debate have done little more than create confusion and an pointless battle between the sexes. We choose not to add to the noise. Instead, we’ve created Athena.

At Exosphere we want to refocus on the woman, as she is. By withdrawing ourselves from that noisy informational space, with numerous disputable opinions and ideas, what sense will it make to talk about what needs to be changed when we will be already changing it?

Our mission – to drive a real, positive change – begins by asking new questions instead of trying to find reasons or biased answers. “How can we empower every single woman to do something big? How can we help Women solve more problems and change the world?”

We don’t have the answers. Athena is a journey to find them with you. A journey that will take us beyond just these questions into new, important areas of exploration.

Our process is built on a belief that success comes from a personal and ongoing search for knowledge. That knowledge is not just the amount of information in our heads, but a never-ending desire to experience more of the world. It works across every important area of humanity; entrepreneurship, social innovation, psychology, science, arts, computer science, robotics, etc.

We believe women can and will find that elusive path to independence and greatness. We want to act as catalyst, bringing together successful women from around the globe and providing valuable philosophical and practical tools to learn, grow, and do – together.

Without connections between people, minds, or cultures, knowledge is dead. Athena exists to create those connections between future female leaders.
